What is FAN7?

FAN7 is the 7th Fab Lab Asia Network Conference. FAN is a regional spinoff from FAB, the international Fab Lab Conference.

The event is a convergence of innovation, creativity, and technology set against the vibrant backdrop of Lake Macquarie, Awabakal Country, Australia.

FAN7 will bring together enthusiasts, professionals, educators, and innovators in the digital fabrication, STEM and maker community from across Asia and beyond.

The FAN7 logo features a laughing kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae), a native bird of eastern mainland Australia that can be found throughout Lake Macquarie. The bird is best known for its distinctive 'laughing' call.
